Teach students synonyms for everyday words with this fast-paced ELA game. Perfect for ELL, intervention, or small groups, these cards help build out students’ vocabularies, one word at a time. As the caller reads each card aloud, players must scan the cards in front of them for a match. If two cards are matching, the player says “SPLAT!” and flips the cards over. The first player to flip over all of their cards wins. Three decks of cards are color-coded by difficulty level, so students at a variety of levels can play. The set includes 225 cards: 75 calling cards and 150 answer cards. Each card measures 3-1/2" x 2-1/4". For 2–6 players.
