Objective

Students will use reference books and the Internet to discover facts about the geography of the Middle East.

Directions

This is a quick activity to help the students learn about the land that is currently in such turmoil. There are three activity sheets for the students to complete.
The first two contain ten questions about the geography. Students can work in pairs to complete the questions. They will need to have access to the Internet, resource books, and atlases.
The final activity sheet asks the students to match the capital cities with the country names. So, students will need to have access to the Internet and/or maps of the Middle East.
